The Sunday Morning Service                    Altona Christian Centre
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:00 am sharp, every Sunday morning, at the Altona Meadows Community Centre . If a change of venue occurs, it will be listed in the news section!

Sunday, the traditional day of worship, marks the first day of the Christian week, and is the point where Christians the world over gather together to give time corporately back to God. We begin with lively songs, sung in praise of the things that God has done for us, followed by a time of greeting, catching up with old and new faces in our Christian family that we may not have had the chance to see during our busy week.

In this atmosphere of Family, the Church settles into a time of worship and deep communion with our Lord, a time where people can express their love and gratitude for the many things that He does for us.

Following the time of worship, our many children head out to Children's Church, an environment where our younger people can settle in to learn the things of God in a way the is relevant to them - whilst the Church enters into a time of preaching and teaching - a time where God's Word can really change a persons life!

A Crèche is also available for the younger children. We at Altona Christian Centre see this not as a child minding service, but an opportunity for the younger children to begin learning about God, with short stories and Bible based activities that help them to learn Christian values that they can use as they grow older.
